Responsibilities
- Carries out tasks such as basic plumbing and electrical system maintenance, boiler system checks and preventative maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Maintains Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.
- Handles general maintenance including patching and painting, basic woodworking, various grounds maintenance tasks, etc.
- Maintains a valid VT driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Lives in the service area and must be in a thirty minute response radius for on call requirement.
- Takes Call on a rotational basis.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- High School or vocational school graduate.
- 3-5 years of general maintenance experience in hospital, school, construction, or other institutional setting, desired.
- Ability to work/handle power tools, an eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, basic knowledge of Federal/State/Local building codes, verbal and written communication skills & ability to follow directions.
- Computer skills, and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Internet Explorer preferred.
