Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance, including painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and cleaning.
• Maintain curb appeal through landscaping, snow/ice removal, and seasonal upkeep.
• Respond with urgency to complete work orders promptly and rotate for emergency on-call coverage (respond within 30 minutes).
• Prioritize quality and compliance by following all safety, property, and inspection standards with precision.
• Work closely with peers and residents, showing empathy and pride in every repair.

Requirements

• 2+ years of apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance experience (painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, flooring; HVAC experience a plus).
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to cover overtime or nearby communities when needed.
• Basic computer or mobile-app skills for work orders, timekeeping, and training (we’ll train you!)
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills, a plus that helps connect with our residents!

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 40hrs | On-Call Rotation
