Maintenance Technician

Location: Wilkinsburg/Homestead
Schedule
- Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week
- Monday–Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM
- Flexibility to work later and/or on weekends as needed
Pay
- $20–$26 per hour, based on experience
- Daily pay available
Responsibilities
- Provide preventative and episodic maintenance, service, and repair in mechanical, electrical, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and other trades across multiple sites
- Occasional installations or relocation of furniture, equipment, and decorative items
- Perform home repairs for participants as authorized by Community LIFE Interdisciplinary Teams
- Follow procedures and safety measures in all maintenance areas
Requirements
- Trade school or other relevant training in an applicable field
- One year of experience in the maintenance field (healthcare facility maintenance preferred)
- Valid PA Driver’s License
Skills
- Experience in maintenance trades
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Ability to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools
- Broad-based knowledge of building codes
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to accept and utilize supervision to maintain high standards of quality
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong team-building and conflict resolution skills
- Dependable, resourceful, and flexible
- Basic computer use
