About the Role
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will work on general maintenance projects at our clinical and residential facilities, performing a variety of tasks to maintain the facilities in an orderly and safe condition. This role is full-time during weekdays, with potential for part-time, on-call, or per diem shifts.
Responsibilities
- Performs general maintenance and minor repairs.
- Performs safety checks of residential facilities and submits reports to management.
- Inspects grounds daily to ensure alleyways, driveways, sidewalks, parking areas, and grounds are clear of debris and potential hazards.
- Uses equipment for cleaning, including ladders, scaffolding, vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, hand tools, brooms, cloths, sponges, dollies, and containers of cleaning solutions weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Assists with disinfecting areas by scrubbing or spraying as needed, following infection control guidelines.
- Assists the Maintenance Supervisor as needed.
- Maintains facilities through general and finish carpentry, basic plumbing, minor electrical and HVAC repairs, servicing appliances, drywall repair, and painting.
Qualifications
- High school graduation or G.E.D. required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Work experience in maintenance is preferred.
- Fine motor coordination to manipulate tools and equipment.

Pay
$23.00–$25.00 per hour.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM (full-time). Part-time, on-call, or per diem shifts may also be available.
