Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly.
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical, or electronic components.
• Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts.
• Reassemble equipment.
• Assist with negotiation of price for build outs and extra projects.

Work Environment

This job is in a store/retail environment. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to use a ladder.

Travel

10% Required

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED
• MUST HAVE NY STATE DRIVERS LICENSE with 3+ years of verifiable experience of Personal Class D driving history.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Previous maintenance experience
