Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing daily inspections of grounds, parking lots, and common areas, repairing minor issues in buildings and foundations, monitoring maintenance supplies, and utilizing a range of skills to conduct maintenance, repairs, and preventative measures.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of grounds, parking lots, and common areas.
• Repair minor issues in buildings and foundations, including roofs, ceilings, walls, floors, basements, and mechanical systems.
• Immediately report any health, safety, or hazardous situations to management.
• Maintain and monitor maintenance supplies and procure them when necessary.
• Utilize a range of skills including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and more to conduct maintenance, repairs, and preventative measures.

Requirements

• At least three years of maintenance technician experience.
• Solid maintenance knowledge and skills, with experience in property management being helpful.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance (painting, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Computer literacy is required.
• An HVAC certificate is helpful but not required.
• A valid and current driver’s license is required for this position.
