Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance work at all organizational facilities, buildings, and grounds.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety at all times.
- Repair and treat structures such as floors, sinks, walls, doors, and carpets.
- Perform minor repairs and troubleshoot problems before calling outside parties for repair.
- Assist with moving and assisting in transporting furniture and equipment to various facilities.
- Order and store maintenance supplies.
- Ensure medical facilities are clean and free of debris.
- Make rounds of the facility at least three times a day to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Complete assigned tasks associated with each facility daily.
- Initiate a checklist at the completion of each assigned task.
Required Experience
- Experience in various trades preferred: plumbing, electric, carpentry, painting, cement, tile, etc.
- Two years experience in building maintenance.
- Previous experience in a medical setting preferred, but not required.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, Hours are flexible based on the center and organization's needs.
