Maintenance Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance work at all organizational facilities, buildings, and grounds.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Repair and treat structures such as floors, sinks, walls, doors, and carpets.
• Perform minor repairs and troubleshoot problems before calling outside parties for repair.
• Assist with moving and assisting in transporting furniture and equipment to various facilities.
• Order and store maintenance supplies.
• Ensure medical facilities are clean and free of debris.
• Make rounds of the facility at least three times a day to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Complete assigned tasks associated with each facility daily.
• Initiate a checklist at the completion of each assigned task.

Required Experience

• Experience in various trades preferred: plumbing, electric, carpentry, painting, cement, tile, etc.
• Two years experience in building maintenance.
• Previous experience in a medical setting preferred, but not required.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, Hours are flexible based on the center and organization's needs.
