Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician position is available within The Villas at Shadow Creek, located at 2020 Business Center Dr. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team environment, solving problems, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and cleans HVAC systems
• Replaces and installs plumbing fixtures and parts
• Performs carpentry tasks such as repairing and installing doors, shelves, countertops, locks, etc.
• Paints drywall/plaster repairs and performs painting tasks
• Oversees electrical/appliance repairs and maintenance including lighting, wiring, power circuits, and replacing switches, lamps, etc.
• Maintains machinery such as chillers, belts, pumps, fans, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1-2 years of required experience in Commercial Property or Multi-Unit Residential Property
• Preferred certifications in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing
• Valid driver's license may be required based on property needs
• Self-motivated, team-player, strong communication, interpersonal, attention to detail, customer service, and personal accountability skills
• Ability to work weekends - Saturdays and Sundays
• Computer and smartphone literacy required
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, for all work-related responsibilities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 3-4 years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements for this position
