Maintenance Technician

About the role

Maintain Boyne Mountain Resort structures by completing daily work orders and service calls, and keeping an accurate log of routine and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform pool care and maintenance
• Conduct boiler room water chemical testing and water softener care and maintenance
• Complete air conditioning and heat change over
• Perform guest room care and maintenance
• Repair and maintain food service equipment
• Review and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment
• Assist in snow removal
• Maintain infrastructure, including water system inspection and maintenance
• Maintain accurate time and material repair billing records
• Utilize a motor vehicle to pick up supplies, parts, and other materials as necessary

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Working knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical
• Knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems is helpful
• Responsible for your own basic hand tools; specialty tools and equipment provided by Boyne Mountain
• Able to crouch, bend, stand, and/or sit in one position for prolonged periods
• Valid driver’s license
