Maintenance Technician

Beacon Management owns and operates 61 residential housing communities across the United States, including Michigan, New York, and Virginia. Our mission is to provide exceptional customer service and deliver exceptional living experiences to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Effectively handle service requests, correcting the situation within 24 hours when possible.
• Ensure all make-ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure 24-hour emergency maintenance service and response.
• Floating duties as assigned.
• Maintain the curb appeal of the community by picking up grounds, removing snow and debris, working on landscaping, and addressing common area needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and locks.
• A current, valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance with a driving record meeting eligibility requirements.
• Customer service skills and the ability to develop a rapport with residents and community staff.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
