Responsibilities
- Performing routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnosing machine malfunctions and determining appropriate repair methods and replacement parts.
- Carrying out repairs on machinery, equipment, and production systems in a timely manner.
- Testing repaired equipment to verify successful repairs and proper functionality.
- Supporting occasional janitorial and facility upkeep activities as required.
- Complying with company quality, safety, and operational requirements.
- Operating forklifts and other powered industrial equipment as needed.
- Troubleshooting and repairing CNC machines, laser cutters, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to support maintenance activities.
- Utilizing maintenance tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices to support repair and installation work.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Performing other duties assigned based on workload and business needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A certificate in Industrial Technology or a related field, preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a maintenance technician, maintenance mechanic, or millwright role.
- Experience working with and repairing CNC machines, laser cutters, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Intermediate math, reading, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to install, evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines and complex industrial equipment.
- Experience installing, evaluating, and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- The ability to safely troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
- The ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment, including welders, grinders, multimeters, drill presses, and saws.
- The ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use maintenance-related systems and programs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with teams, supervisors, leadership, vendors, and visitors.
- The ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds safely.
- The willingness and flexibility to work overtime, alternative shifts, and weekends as required by business needs.
