Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician supports the Facilities team by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the organization’s buildings, grounds, and equipment. This role ensures a safe, clean, and functional environment for employees and visitors.

Job Duties

• Analyze and take appropriate action to repair company equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders and follow through to ensure expected outcome is met in a timely manner.
• Add and maintain plumbing and electrical systems to buildings.
• Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, etc.).
• Perform general upkeep tasks such as painting, minor carpentry, and furniture assembly.
• Support preventive maintenance schedules and document completed tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the facility.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and report shortages.
• Assist with setup and teardown for company events or office moves.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and report hazards to Supervisor immediately.

Qualifications

• High school degree required; Associate's Degree/Trade school preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Maintenance, Operations or a similar field desired.
• Experience repairing and maintaining machinery preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and evaluate equipment to ensure safety and efficient operational objectives are met required.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment.
• Audiogram required.
• Must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
