Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is critical in supporting production and ensuring equipment is operational to consistently meet production goals and our customers' needs.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain all mechanical equipment in the plant
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions
  • Install, maintain, and upgrade 3-phase motor control systems, and AC/DC circuits
  • Understand and troubleshoot fluid power systems, including power units, valves, cylinders, motors, and pumps
  • Perform basic fabrication by cutting and welding operations
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment using standard practices and procedures
  • Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Follow all company and equipment safety guidelines and ethics rules
  • Maintain lift truck operator’s license, main lift, and other material handling equipment

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years of trade school or equivalent experience in industrial mechanical or electrical
  • General HS Diploma / GED
  • Mechanical aptitude in complex mechanical assemblies including precision measurements
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Knowledge of conventional welding and industrial equipment operations
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Basic computer skills to maintain records, work history, and inventory of parts
  • Utilize meters, gauges, or other types of test equipment to facilitate quality and timely repairs

Qualifications

  • Proven to perform in various industries, from the edges of space to the bottoms of oceans

Skills

  • Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission, and steam systems
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints proficiently
  • Understanding of basic relay logic
  • Basic fabrication skills, including cutting and welding operations
  • Preventative maintenance knowledge
  • Work safely and follow all company and equipment safety guidelines

Pay

Schedule

Night shift from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, rotating 2-2-3 schedule
