Maintenance Technician

About the role

Join us as a Maintenance Technician for our Lockport, NY Operations. You'll be part of a skilled team ensuring large industrial equipment and systems are fully operational for continuous production.

Responsibilities

• Perform all maintenance functions (mechanical or electrical/electronic) necessary to maintain all operating and service equipment using standard and specialized tools and equipment including mobile equipment as required.
• Install, repair and service electrical and mechanical equipment on overhead cranes, production equipment, and any other equipment related to operations or maintaining the facilities.
• Construct, fabricate, rig, pipefit, and perform basic millwright work.
• Perform precision alignment of motors and other rotating equipment.
• Operate floor-controlled cranes, fork lifts, manlifts, skid loaders, etc.
• Electrical troubleshooting and repairs to AC and DC equipment up to 600 volts.
• Adjust equipment for proper operating characteristics as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least two years of electrical and/or mechanical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: 2+ years of industrial electrical experience OR 2-year associate's degree in industrial electricity or related field.

Pay

$30.10 per hour

Schedule

As part of our Union Maintenance Team, you must be willing to work all shifts in our 24/7 operation, including rotating shifts. Overtime may be available including other shifts and weekends.

Additional Information
