Summary
The successful candidate will troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and maintain manufacturing and ancillary equipment. Essential duties include troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, and maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. Responsibilities also include possessing the ability to use monitoring and testing equipment, furthering personal skills and knowledge, and working safely.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and maintain manufacturing and ancillary equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Possess an ability to use monitoring and testing equipment to facilitate troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, and maintaining manufacturing and ancillary equipment.
- Further his abilities, skills, and knowledge to expand his capabilities in troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, and maintaining existing and new equipment and technology.
- Responsible for working safely, following LO/TO and electrical safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
- Two-year certificate from college or technical school with a focus in machining and/or electronics; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Manual lifting not to exceed 50 lbs.
