About the role
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician – Electrical Focus for our Alleima Precision Tube site in Scottdale, PA. This role is part of a human-sized team of approximately 55 employees who produce high-precision stainless- and nickel-alloy tube products for industries like aerospace, transportation, nuclear, and petrochemical.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines.
- Follow diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Traverse and repair equipment with a focus on electrical systems, including 3-phase power and 120V–480V circuits.
- Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; use hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examine the form and texture of parts.
- Maintain and troubleshoot DC drive systems, motors, and electrical controls.
- Aid the supervisor in controlling downtime by informing production workers of routine maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Aid in maintaining equipment and spare parts inventory.
- Aid in conserving maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Contribute to a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, regulations, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) safety practices.
Requirements
- Previous industrial experience.
- A high school diploma or GED, with a trade school degree preferred.
- Demonstrated competence in troubleshooting and diagnosing a variety of complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, including 3-phase power systems, 120V–480V industrial electrical systems, DC drive systems, and motor controls.
- A strong understanding of electrical safety standards.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and manufacturing environments is preferred.
Qualifications

Pay
