Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair of production floor machinery and equipment throughout the plant
• Sustain and improve our preventative maintenance programs and maintenance techniques on all machinery and equipment
• Afford technical direction to Level I Maintenance Technicians in repairing, testing, and troubleshooting equipment
• Support production processes by assisting with changeover, product setup, and start-up
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance tasks using company preferred systems
• Document equipment maintenance performed
• Ensure housekeeping and organization of the work area (5s) as needed

Qualifications/Characteristics

• 3-5 years of previous maintenance experience required
• Previous experience or exposure with controls, electrical, mechanical, and/or tooling maintenance preferred
• Previous experience with PLCs preferred
• Previous experience with vision systems (like quality inspection, robotics, or automation) preferred, or willingness to learn
• A High School diploma or GED
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP preferred
