Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Installs, alters, electrical conduit, wiring, switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors, transformers and other such equipment.
- Tests, maintains and evaluates equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers and pressure gauges.
- Troubleshoot PLC’s with computer terminal.
- Performs trouble shooting of faulty equipment and perform minor repairs as required and see to general maintenance of system.
- Performs skilled maintenance activities including construction, welding, brazing, soldering and plumbing.
- Checks and repairs pumps, fans, valves and motors.
- Adjusts repairs and replaces electrical and electronic pneumatic relays.
- Prepares accurate records for preventive maintenance.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to abide by the company handbook in regards to following safety rules and job rotations.
- Must be willing to report unsafe conditions, reporting unsafe acts, participating in safety/ergo committees, participating in safety Kazan events, participating in blue sky initiatives, participating in safety audits, and participating in safety observation feedback events.
- Participate in communications events such as plant wide meetings, line meetings, department meetings, and training exercises.
