Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and installs HVAC and related equipment as assigned.
• Assumes day-to-day coordination of specific agreements or projects as assigned to ensure contractual commitments are met in a timely, cost-effective manner.
• Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts.
• Handle heavy workload of calls.
• Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return.
• Manage workload and job scheduling.
• Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork.
• Obtain customer signature on all service reports (before work begins when performing spot jobs).
• Keep manager informed of customer feedback.
• Communicate effectively and promptly.
• Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team.
• Collaborate with and across multiple departments and representatives within the Company.
• When the Supervisor is present, the lead worker may also be responsible for directing smaller work groups.
• Report team performance issues to the Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license.
• Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of prior HVAC or mechanical technician experience is preferred. One (1) year of prior lead or supervisory experience is preferred.

Pay

Pay: $28/hr-$35/hr. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
