Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair automated and semi-automated production equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure equipment is in good running condition.
- Perform minor plant maintenance functions to upkeep the condition to the building.
- Provide direct support to production to maximize plant efficiency.
- Design and fabrication of equipment upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and repair of industrial equipment including PLC controls, 3-phase power and motor speed controls.
- Absorb and install new production equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of three years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment that includes at least two of the following: electrical, pneumatics, pipe fitting, metal working, plumbing, welding, basic machining, carpentry, painting, and/or heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
- Able to troubleshoot automated equipment.
- Motor skills and manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
- Basic mathematics.
- Use of measuring instruments, read electronic and mechanical gages, and machine setup devices.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance as needed.
