Position Summary
To be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment by observing mechanical devices in operation as well as listening for any problems.
Essential Functions
- 3 to 6 years of industrial maintenance or similar environment performing comparable tasks as required for this position.
- PLC experience preferred, but not mandatory.
- Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventative maintenance techniques.
- Maintaining compliance.
- Build assemblies of company assets and install as needed.
- Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements.
- Design, implement and manage preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment and tools.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and inspect equipment and tools.
- Review the need for and request tools, equipment and supplies necessary to perform duties.
- Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be primarily in our climate-controlled facility. The plant floor is subject to vibration, equipment noise and cleaning solvents leading to a loud environment.
