Maintenance Technician - Album Monterey Pointe

About the role

Greystar is a leading real estate platform offering property management, investment management, development, and construction services. This Maintenance Technician position is located at Album Monterey Pointe in Kissimmee, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins by completing the make-ready process.
• Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items from the property’s maintenance department.
• Documents and completes paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
• Maintains the grounds, common areas, and amenities by performing tasks such as picking up trash and debris, pressure-washing, and painting.
• Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.

Other Responsibilities

• Complies with safety and risk-management policies by attending safety meetings, completing required training, and reporting accidents and incidents promptly.
• Periodically inspects work performed by contractors, vendors, and other service providers to ensure quality standards, scope, and specifications are met.

Requirements

• Must have EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Must have a valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on the property, if applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in maintenance or similar field.
• Valid driver's license.

Skills

• Knowledge of safety and risk management practices.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
