Maintenance Technician - 83 West Townhomes

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures the property remains safe, attractive, and comfortable. You will build relationships with service staff, residents, and vendors, perform regular inspections, complete service requests, and assist with apartment make-readies. This role reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for occupancy by making necessary repairs
• Complete work orders in occupied homes with fast, friendly service
• Follow preventive maintenance guidelines
• Maintain property grounds, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance service requests
• Collaborate with the team to achieve property goals
• Adhere to safety procedures

Requirements

• 1-2 years of facilities maintenance experience (highly preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License with auto insurance
• EPA certification (preferred)
• CPO and/or pool experience (preferred)
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Problem-solving skills for a fast-paced environment
• Goal-oriented team player
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Availability for after-hours and weekend on-call responsibilities (rotated schedule)
