Maintenance Technician- 77672

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical systems up to 480 volts.
• Troubleshoots and repairs basic plumbing problems, soldering copper pipe, repairing PVC, black iron, and galvanized pipe, installing plumbing fixtures.
• Troubleshoots and repairs minor furniture, flooring, doors, and hardware.
• Troubleshoots and repairs basic HVAC problems.
• Performs general painting activities including patching, tapping, and painting of drywall.
• Aids in snow removal and assists in the training of Tech Assistance.
• Performs preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC equipment.
• Tracks repairs and maintenance.
• Performs set-up of equipment for maintenance.
• Operates campus vehicles as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years' experience in HVAC preferred.
• Strong electrical background preferred, including electrical pneumatic and computer controls.
