The primary focus of the Maintenance Technician is to maintain and repair equipment, ensuring all equipment and production lines operate according to company standards.

Success Criteria
- Perform required maintenance of all equipment
- Aid in the implementation of new equipment and improvements, and troubleshoot existing equipment
- Communicate effectively with maintenance and production staff to resolve maintenance issues promptly
- Track and report maintenance issues or future references
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines, and assist in modifying and updating procedures
- Ensure compound retention schedules are rotated accordingly
- Stay informed of equipment updates and operational issues and take appropriate actions
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
- Communicate effectively with maintenance and production staff to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Diagnose failed components and safely work on voltages up to 480V
- Use digital voltmeters
- Support general maintenance activities as needed
- Work a flexible schedule including off shifts and weekends as needed
- Continued education—internal & external training opportunities
- Handle and resolve problems
- Perform any other work-related functions as requested by management
- Complete written reports
- Operate forklifts and fill out daily forklift checklists when needed
Your Credentials
- High School Diploma; Technical Degree Preferred
- 3-5 years related experience in manufacturing settings
- VFD, Motor Controls experience
- PLC troubleshooting and modification experience
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic systems
- Basic knowledge of chilled water systems
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems
- Strong electrical experience
- Print Reading
- Wiring
- Troubleshooting
- Detail-oriented, professional, and flexible to the requirements of each project
- Dependable, reliable, and responsible
- Driven and self-motivated
- Ability to complete written reports
- Computer skills
Pay and Benefits
The hourly rate of pay is commensurate with experience and an electrical assessment conducted by Quanex, starting at $25.00/hr. + $1.00 Shift Differential for 2nd & 3rd shifts. 3rd shift Sunday-Thursday - 10:45pm - 7:00am. Call or text 220-529-0209 to apply!
