Summary of Pay

Compensation for this position is commensurate with education, experience, and relevant qualifications. This position qualifies for a $2.00 shift differential. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.
• Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Performs preventative maintenance.
• Powered industrial vehicle operations which may include forklifts, scissor lifts, and floor scrubbers.
• On occasion may need to backfill to other positions/departments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
