Maintenance Technician-3rd Shift
Responsibilities
- Plans and executes the preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance of production equipment.
- Led facility management team on problem identification, trouble shooting and equipment issue resolution and repair.
- Attends to breakdowns, diagnoses faults, and oversees equipment improvements and time-critical repair.
- Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems machine maintenance.
- Manages spare parts inventory.
- Performs complex equipment engineering design evaluations; recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
- Preventative maintenance processes to ensure equipment is available and capable.
- Manage maintenance, repair and operating supplies.
- Coordinates with outside vendor parts/service.
- Participates in Corporate safety planning/meetings.
Requirements
- Experience working with maintenance planner/scheduler to ensure that all preventive maintenance is completed.
- Identify equipment breakdown trends and proposing corrective actions.
- Ensures department compliance with company policies and procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Experience with training to support procedural and process changes and new equipment installation.
- Electrical Experience including but not limited to 3 phase and Single-phase power and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) skills.
- Electric motors
- Hydraulic pump maintenance
- Welding and small engine maintenance
- Experience with Pneumatics
- Hands on physical repair of all facility Equipment
Job Skills

About the Role
Maintenance Technician at Clayton Supply, a division of Clayton Supply, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, is responsible for the maintenance and repair of production equipment. This position requires a strong background in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as experience with maintenance planning and scheduling. The ideal candidate will be able to identify and resolve equipment issues quickly and efficiently, while also managing spare parts inventory and coordinating with external vendors.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of 2 years of related experience in a maintenance technician role is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
