Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift ($6000 Sign On Bonus)

To support our growth, we are looking for a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role services and maintains electro-mechanical equipment, including robotic washline, autoclaves, boilers, and other equipment to support site operations. The position also oversees daily cleaning and upkeep of the Sturtevant facility by leading the custodial employee.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of equipment
- Conduct hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairs
- Communicate with the Service and Engineering team to arrange spare parts, travel schedules, and support
- Assemble, align, and install equipment and machine upgrades while adhering to timeline and budget
- Interface with cross-functional teams such as plant operations, global operations, and suppliers
- Coordinate with Plant Managers to arrange downtime for maintenance activities
- Report weekly on tasks completed and pending
- Provide remote service assistance to plants to restore production quickly
- Maintain Washsmart inventory at each Daniels location in conjunction with plant management
Requirements
- Mechanical experience in assemblies and production equipment & robotics
- Welding experience with basic repair work
- Electrical skills to identify and repair issues and communicate fault conditions
- Ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled machines with telephone support
- Ability to work 3rd shift hours
