The Maintenance Technician is responsible for servicing and maintaining electro-mechanical equipment, including Daniels’ robotic washline, autoclaves, boilers, and various other equipment to support site operations both locally and regionally.
About the role
- Daily maintenance of equipment
- Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairs
- Communicate with the Service and Engineering team to arrange spare parts, travel schedules, and support
- Interface with cross-functional work teams such as plant operations, global operations, and suppliers
- Communicate with Plant Managers to arrange downtime to complete maintenance activities
- Report weekly tasks completed & still to be completed
- Provide remote service assistance to plants with issues, getting them back in production as quickly as possible

- Maintain Washsmart inventory at each Daniels location in conjunction with individual plant management to ensure plants are stocked effectively
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Mechanical experience in mechanical assemblies and production equipment & robotics
- Welding experience
- Experience with basic repair work
- Electrical experience, ability to identify and repair electrical issues and communicate fault conditions
- PLC experience, ability to troubleshoot PLC controlled machines, with telephone support
- Ability to work 3rd shift hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a maintenance or engineering role
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic welding skills
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Knowledge of electrical systems and PLCs
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- $20 - $25 per hour based on experience
