Maintenance Technician 3

Position Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment at Yesway and Allsup’s locations.
• Serves as a subject matter expert in general maintenance functions including, but not limited to: light electrical, light carpentry, plumbing, HVAC\R and foodservice\beverage equipment.
• Facilitates and inspects work performed by 3rd party vendors.
• Ensures a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Accurately maintains inventory and tools on company provided vehicle.
• Utilizes Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to efficiently manage, track, and close work orders, update asset records, and monitor repair history.
• Participates in training to keep up to date on how to manage existing and new equipment.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Ensure each job is completed in a quality, cost-effective, and timely manner with exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred and three to five years’ experience in the maintenance field.
• Experience or training in one of the following fields: HVAC\R, Plumbing, Electrical, or Foodservice\Beverage repair.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use hand/electric cart, able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, and able to use a ladder.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable as a driver.
• EPA 608 Type I & II certifications OR EPA 608 Universal HVAC certification, or willingness to obtain certification within a timeframe designated by management.
