Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

About the role

At Pratt Industries, we seek a Maintenance Technician in Humboldt, TN, who will play a crucial role in ensuring our sustainable packaging solutions operate efficiently and sustainably.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safe work practices.
• Optimize equipment for quality production.
• Diagnose and repair A/C and D/C systems.
• Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance tasks.
• Mentor and train peers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Own tools necessary for maintenance tasks.
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Able to calculate figures and amounts accurately.
• Ability to apply basic mathematical and reasoning skills.
• Working knowledge of equipment design, product layouts, and quality standards.
• May require a current Lift Truck Operator License and/or other certifications.

Qualifications

• Physical demands: Regular standing, walking, talking, hearing, reaching, and stooping.
• Work environment: Exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration.
• No specific vision requirements except for close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• No specific noise levels.
