About the role
At Pratt Industries, we seek a Maintenance Technician in Humboldt, TN, who will play a crucial role in ensuring our sustainable packaging solutions operate efficiently and sustainably.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to safe work practices.
- Optimize equipment for quality production.
- Diagnose and repair A/C and D/C systems.
- Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance tasks.
- Mentor and train peers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Own tools necessary for maintenance tasks.
- Prior work experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
- Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
- Able to calculate figures and amounts accurately.
- Ability to apply basic mathematical and reasoning skills.
- Working knowledge of equipment design, product layouts, and quality standards.
- May require a current Lift Truck Operator License and/or other certifications.
Qualifications
- Physical demands: Regular standing, walking, talking, hearing, reaching, and stooping.
- Work environment: Exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration.
- No specific vision requirements except for close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- No specific noise levels.
