Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

About the role

At Milwaukee Tool, our Engineering Team is responsible for developing the batteries, motors, and electronics that power innovative solutions. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll perform maintenance services and repairs across plumbing, carpentry, machine servicing, and electrical systems to support our in-house production and breakthrough technologies.

Responsibilities

• CNC troubleshooting (drives, motors)
• Machine repair and maintenance
• Troubleshoot and correct setups, tooling, and malfunctions
• Operate personnel lifts and forklifts
• Perform repairs and adaptations (e.g., air, grease, coolant lines, switches, belts, guards)
• Fabricate items from wood, metal, and Plexiglas
• Build or fabricate devices to improve quality and production
• Use hand and power tools to move equipment
• Plumbing, welding, construction of metal/wood, brazing, soldering
• Maintenance and inventory supply check-in/out using CMMS system
• Lookup MRO parts using CMMS; provide details for prompt ordering if unavailable
• Non-routine machine maintenance and upkeep
• Evaluate, repair, or replace electrical motors and components
• Wire machines and install new equipment to meet production needs
• Basic PLC maintenance
• Adhere to all safety requirements and practice 6S

Requirements

• 40 semester hours of industrial trade training or 5 years of general maintenance experience
• Qualified electrician with basic electronics knowledge
• Certified forklift operator
• Welding experience
• Industrial electricity/wiring skills
• Ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions, drawings, and blueprints
