About the role
As a Maintenance Technician at Country View Family Farms, you'll play a critical role in keeping our feed mill operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. From preventative maintenance to troubleshooting and repairs, your skills will help support a team that feeds families every day.
Responsibilities
- No two days are exactly the same, but you'll consistently:
- Perform daily and weekly walk-throughs to identify maintenance needs
- Write, prioritize, and complete work orders for repairs and improvements
- Execute our preventative maintenance program to keep equipment running strong
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safety-focused maintenance shop
- Support mill operators as needed to keep production moving
- Complete all required safety and maintenance trainings
- Take ownership of tools, equipment, and facility standards
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, welding, or fabrication (certifications are a plus!)
- A team-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and think on your feet
- Comfort working on your feet most of the day and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment (noise, dust, temperature changes)
