Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift ($6000 Sign-On Bonus)
About the role
To support our growth, we are looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for servicing and maintaining our electro-mechanical equipment, including Daniels’ robotic washline, autoclaves, boilers, and various other equipment to support site operations both locally and regionally.
Responsibilities
- Daily maintenance of equipment
- Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairs
- Communicate with the Service and Engineering team to arrange spare parts, travel schedules and support
- Interface with cross functional work teams such as plant operations, global operations, and suppliers
- Communicate with Plant Managers to arrange downtime to complete maintenance activities
- Reports each week of tasks completed & still to be completed
- Remote service assistance to plants with issues, get them back in production as quickly as possible
- Interface with cross functional work teams such as plant operations, global operations, and suppliers
- Maintain Washsmart inventory at each Daniels location in conjunction with individual plant management to ensure plants are stocked effectively
Requirements
- Mechanical, experience in mechanical assemblies and production equipment & robotics
- Welding, experience with basic repair work
- Electrical, ability to identify and repair electrical issues and communicate fault conditions
- PLC, ability to troubleshoot PLC controlled machines, with telephone support
