Maintenance Technician 2

Position Responsibilities

• Efficiently complete all daily work orders within 24 hours.
• Communicate any delays in completing a work order with the supervisor and management office.
• Troubleshoot repair any maintenance issues involving electrical, plumbing, A/C, HVAC, appliances and carpentry.
• Work with leasing staff team to ensure all make-ready repairs and services are completed and on schedule.
• Respond to after-hours on-call emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records for preventative maintenance, building mechanicals, service requests and apartment make- ready status.
• Stay current on all applicable building codes and safety standards.
• Aid in the coordination of proper workshop inventory with maintenance supervisor.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years of direct experience working as a Maintenance Technician or related field.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance maintenance, and snow removal.
• An exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
• A professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor.
• A proactive self-starter and team-player.
• Availability for weekend inspections and weekday evening resident meetings.
• The ability to professionally communicate with residents and staff.
