We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business. Creation Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician 2 to join our Rochester team in a hands-on role supporting advanced electronics manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Play a critical role in maintaining and troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment to help ensure safe, efficient, and on-time production for our customers.
- Execute scheduled maintenance activities while ensuring equipment performance meets operational and safety standards.
- Follow all lock out tag out (LOTO) and workplace safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and external equipment vendors to quickly resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair updates, and parts usage within the CMMS system.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring equipment issues and recommending maintenance or process improvements.
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and assist with equipment installations, fabrication support, and system assembly projects.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma, GED, military training, or vocational/technical education preferred.
- 3+ years of maintenance or technical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing equipment.
- Working knowledge of lock out tag out (LOTO) procedures and general workplace safety standards.
- Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous learning mindset.
Pay
The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $30 - 40/hour. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, location, and shift.
