About the role
The Maintenance Technician position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of beverage manufacturing and packaging equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical skills base, including knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, conveyor systems, and PLC usage.
Responsibilities
- Completes all work allocated to a high standard, adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wears required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensures adherence to food quality and safety standards, reporting problems to responsible managers.
- Performs and completes repair maintenance, preventive maintenance, and line changeovers.
- Trains other maintenance personnel and communicates effectively with production staff during downtime.
- Works collaboratively with adjacent teams to resolve issues and drive improvement.
Requirements
- Three (3) plus years experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
- Knowledge of GMPs and food safety requirements.
- Ability to read, understand, and work with machinery blueprints and parts manuals.
- Ability to work without supervision and make decisions independently.
- Ability to solve problems and analyze data.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work under own supervision.
Qualifications
- Obtain and maintain forklift certification.
- Strong interpersonal and developed communication skills.
- Data analysis and identification of trends.
- Internal customer focus with the ability to adapt to variable demands.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Skills
- Knowledge of GMPs.
- Understanding of food safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Ability to troubleshoot machinery for malfunctions.
- Ability to perform maintenance on all production supporting equipment.

Pay
$33.22/hr w/ progression to $34.41/hr upon successful training period, plus applicable shift premiums.
Schedule
Flexible schedule based on business needs, including weekends, overnights, holidays, and potential 10- or 12-hour schedules depending on the position.
Relocation
Up to $5,000 in relocation assistance.
Sign-on Bonus
$2,000 sign-on bonus.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to push and/or pull up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to continuously stand and/or walk for extended periods of time on concrete surface.
- Able to repeatedly kneel, bend, crouch, reach, climb, and/or stoop throughout the shift as needed.
