Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all tools and equipment used are accounted for when work is completed.
- Ensure that clothing worn does not become contaminated causing possible carrying of ingredients, especially allergens, to other areas.
- Ensuring the cleaning and sanitizing of tools and equipment when completed.
- Must have Basic general electrical knowledge.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, filter changes, and visual inspections.
- Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs under the supervision of senior technicians.
- Support equipment changeovers and sanitation procedures to meet food safety standards.
- Document maintenance activities and report any irregularities or safety concerns.
- Follow all safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and PPE compliance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance work areas.
- Must have strong working relationships with plant personnel.

Equipment Exposure
- Conveyors – belt tracking, roller checks, and cleaning.
- Ovens and Freezers – temperature monitoring, gasket checks, and airflow inspections.
- Baggers, Scales, and Wrappers – sensor cleaning, jam clearing, and basic calibration.
- Pumps, Motors, and Gearboxes – lubrication and seal checks, and Replacement.
- Compressors and Ammonia Systems – assist with inspections and log readings.
- Packaging and Palletizing Equipment – support changeovers and minor adjustments.
