Maintenance Technical Specialist (A4, 3rd Shift)

Key Accountabilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment (tilt tray sorters and associated feeder components, conveyors, scales, scanners, cameras, variable frequency drives, etc).
• Knowledge of ASi systems, Profibus networks, and Siemens PLCs is a plus.
• Proficient in reading and comprehending electrical connection diagrams and schematics.
• Utilize hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and computers in the performance of duties.
• Occasionally operate forklifts, scissor lifts, snorkel/boom lifts, pallet jacks, and small conveyance vehicles.
• Complete job specific tasks associated with facilities maintenance such as high speed overhead doors, lighting, general power distribution as well as high voltage electric monitoring, water distribution and sewage management, HVAC, low pressure boilers, dock levelers, fire protection systems, generators, etc.

Skills and Qualifications

• Wear 100% cotton uniforms (part of the arc flash protection gear) at all times.
• Wear safety toe boots at all times.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Detail oriented and a self-starter with a positive attitude.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of a CMMS (Maximo) is a plus.
• Supply a small pre-determined list of personal hand tools.
• Specific skills pertaining to metal fabrication, welding, torches, rigging, etc is a plus.
• Working knowledge relating to the daily use of HMI and GDU applications.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders, frequently at times.
• Able to lift up to 70lbs regularly.
• Able to work in hot and cold environments to include inclement weather.
• Able to stand for long durations.
