Maintenance Tech with Digital Experience

About the role

The Maintenance Technician IV is responsible for performing regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on machinery and equipment. Duties also include troubleshooting, root cause analysis, installing new equipment, and recommending improvements.

Essential Functions

• Complying with health and safety regulations
• Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment
• Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance
• Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals
• Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery
• Performing thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems
• Cleaning, repairing, and installing equipment and parts as needed
• Operating a variety of hand and power tools
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Performing general maintenance work on buildings, as assigned
• Reading and complying with work orders concerning PMs, modification or installation of machinery
• Working effectively with other team members in a loud environment
• Performing all other duties as designated by Management

Essential Qualifications

• Education/Certification: High school diploma and certification are required
• Experience Required: 5+ years of industrial maintenance, required; 5 years of Digital Machine experience; Prior use of hand tools and specialized tools (welding, precision, manual and semi-automated machines); Expert ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals; Expert mechanical knowledge (motors, bearings, rollers, sprockets, etc.); Expert pneumatics knowledge; Intermediate electrical systems knowledge; Advanced knowledge of computerized systems (CMMS)
• Skill And Ability: Bilingual (English & Spanish) proficiency is required; Attention to detail and multitasking skills; Ability to work well both independently and in a team atmosphere; Demonstrated ability to closely adhere to all instructions, WOs, SOP's, policies and procedures required; Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for an extended amount of time; Ability to act competently in emergencies; Organized and detail-oriented; Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision; Excellent problem-solving skills
