Maintenance Tech Weekends

About the role

Part-time Maintenance Technician position at the Courtyard by Marriott in Sandy (approximately 16 hours per week).

Schedule

Saturdays and Sundays, 3pm–11pm.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas in good repair by performing tasks across multiple trades: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, wall covering, and landscaping.
• Clean and maintain the spa area.
• Maintain hotel vehicles and transport guests as needed.
• Work nights, weekends, or holidays when required.
• Conduct maintenance and safety inspections; ensure timely follow-up on required improvements.

Requirements

• Basic tools and maintenance experience.
• Must be 21 or older with a valid driver license and good driving record.
• Willingness to learn and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Neat, well-groomed appearance (specific standards provided).

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, wall covering, and landscaping principles and procedures.
