About the role
The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Tech Senior to construct, repair, and maintain wooden structures such as furniture, equipment, partitions, and other parts of buildings. This position also assists with general maintenance activities and coordinates locksmithing tasks for the Housing Department.
Responsibilities
- Constructs, repairs, and maintains wooden structures using hand and power tools as assigned.
- Assists with general maintenance activities as directed.
- Captures locksmithing tasks for the Housing Department.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Valid State of Alaska Driver’s License.
- Variety of operating tools and equipment.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Qualifications
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid State of Alaska Driver’s License.
- Variety of operating tools and equipment.
Skills
- Basic carpentry skills.
- Knowledge of various operating tools and equipment.
- Problem-solving abilities.

Minimum Hourly Pay: $24.95
