Maintenance Tech - PRN

Responsibilities

• Maintains a comfortable, safe and secure environment for the residents, their families, visitors and partners.
• Performs a variety of general maintenance tasks, including general repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
• Affords assistance with moving of residents’ furnishings as needed.
• Paints residents' living quarters as needed.
• Affords assistance with the on-going preventative maintenance program of cleaning, repairing and operating equipment, which minimizes abnormal equipment failure.
• Affords assistance with maintaining documentation of fire safety evacuation plan, fire drills, disaster plan, smoking policy, fire alarm testing, fire extinguisher maintenance and testing reports, generator testing logs, water temperatures, flame spread ratings of interior finishes, and other maintenance records.
• Affords assistance with transportation tasks as needed.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Licensure/Certification: Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license and be insurable.
• Experience: HVAC and electrical required, maintenance experience in a maintenance department and prior experience in a health care facility preferred.

Pay

The position starts at $18.00/hr and increases with experience.

Schedule

This Maintenance Tech RN position offers up to 32 hours per week now (8a-4p) and will reduce over time.
