MAINTENANCE TECH - PLANT 1 - 2ND SHIFT

Responsibilities

• Train other employees (new hires or transfers)
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and manage the PM system
• Perform inventory control duties with maintenance material parts
• Practice safety and environmental awareness at all times on the job and on company property, including the parking lot
• Actively support Health, Safety and Environmental Policies; immediately report dangerous situations and correct them when safe to do so
• Participate in required safety training, meetings, and inspections
• Use all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Able to work at height from a ladder or lift
• Possess own tools
• Work well with others
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge
• Able to work under stress
• Understand the urgency to reduce downtime
• Ability to work without direct supervision; resourceful and self‑starter
• Maintain an excellent work and attendance record
• Lift 35 lb frequently; up to 75 lb occasionally
• Maintain good attendance and meet qualitative and quantitative performance standards
