What You Will Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery, facility equipment, and supporting systems.
- Diagnose electrical issues involving 110V, 240V, and 480V systems and low-voltage controls.
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Inspect and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Perform maintenance on overhead cranes, welding equipment, CNC machines, and other industrial equipment.
- Use meters, gauges, diagnostic tools, and hand and power tools to identify equipment problems.
- Complete MIG and stick/arc welding and fabrication work as needed.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Document completed work, equipment conditions, repairs, and follow-up needs.
- Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize repairs based on safety and production needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Collaborate with production employees, supervisors, and other maintenance team members.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to overall team goals.
- Assist with additional maintenance projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 3 years of industrial maintenance, maintenance mechanic, or similar mechanical experience.
- Working knowledge of industrial machinery and facility equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting 110V, 240V, and 480V electrical systems.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with overhead cranes, CNC machinery, and welding equipment preferred.
- MIG and stick/arc welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to use electrical meters, gauges, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment safely.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to organize work, maintain accurate records, and communicate equipment concerns clearly.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance and operations team.
- Vocational or technical training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.
- Certified Maintenance Manager or another applicable maintenance certification is a plus.
