Responsibilities

• Respond with urgency to emergency calls/work orders and plan and execute assigned work orders
• Inspect, identify, and repair complex mechanical/electrical equipment
• Repair and maintain piping systems and assemble hoses with fittings
• Perform basic fabrication and welding and ability to follow prints
• Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Diagnose problems and replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties
• Troubleshoot and repair other electrical equipment that maintains production, safety, quality, output, and reduces downtime on production lines in accordance with codes, regulations, and specifications
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

Requirements

• Advanced mechanical and technical skills
• Ability to work effectively with all areas of the plant and a thorough understanding of the entire manufacturing process
• Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment
