Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.
  • Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service.
  • Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
  • Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
  • Perform mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair on various equipment and building maintenance.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
  • Safely operate and repair forklifts.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic/technician role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Electrical training/experience with 480V 3-phase/machine controls preferred.
  • Experience with VFD Drives and PLCs preferred.
  • Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs, and procedures.
  • Experience operating forklift equipment.
  • Ability to successfully multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety, continuous learning, and development.
  • Completes training courses as determined by management.

Pay

$30 to $40 an hour, paid weekly (based on experience).

Schedule

Day Shift, 2-2-3 schedule.
