Maintenance Tech (Kapolei, AM Shift)
About the role
The Maintenance and Landscaping Technician for TFG-HI will be able to perform a variety of maintenance tasks including drywall patching and repair, painting, weed whacking, lawn mowing, furniture assembly and repair, picture hanging, simple plumbing repairs, light bulb replacement, asphalt and concrete repair, and other similar tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including drywall patching and repair, painting, weed whacking, lawn mowing, furniture assembly and repair, picture hanging, simple plumbing repairs, light bulb replacement, asphalt and concrete repair, and other similar tasks.
- Work autonomously and responsibly by observing company procedures and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Some relevant maintenance, landscaping, and/or construction experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to work safely, efficiently, and follow specific directions
- Must have clear and effective communication skills
- Must have self-starter qualities with strong prioritization and time management skills
- Must have exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are highly preferred
- Must be able to work outdoors, stand on ladder, push, pull, reach, stoop, stretch, and bend frequently for long periods of time (up to 4 – 8 hours)
- Must be flexible and willing to learn and adopt specific TFG-HI processes
