Maintenance Tech III

About the role

Givens Aldersgate is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join their facilities team. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, possess an exemplary work ethic, be eager to learn, communicate effectively, and be comfortable working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance services and repairs for all facility property
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand and power tools
• Inspect and test electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify defects, hazards, and the need for adjustment or repair
• Respond to maintenance requests and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner
• Perform routine maintenance as needed
• Demonstrate the ability to cooperate and work as a team member to ensure the quality of facility services
• Maintain records of all monthly, quarterly, and annual preventive maintenance for the property in order to meet regulatory agent inspection and company expectations
• Absorb and organize supplies and keep storerooms clean and organized
• Participate in department meetings and provide input, active participation, and support of other department teams on campus
• Perform other duties and/or tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Formal training in one or more trades (HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Construction, Plumbing, etc.)
• Supervisory experience
• 3+ Years of property maintenance experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Fair Housing and Section 504/ADA certification (preferred)

Pay

The compensation for this position is $31.00 - $36.00 per hour, based on background and experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package!

Schedule

The schedule for this position is 9am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.
