Maintenance Tech III - 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-craft maintenance, fabrication, and construction duties as directed to keep equipment and physical plant in good repair.
• Move and install machines, rebuild and repair power tools, machine tools, assembly equipment, lift trucks, etc.
• Work can include construction, troubleshooting and repair of structural, fabricated, mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic nature.
• Aid in training new employees and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience.
• Associate Degree in a technical manufacturing field (Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, General Engineering, etc.) preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills in PLCs, hydraulics/pneumatics, robotics, electro-mechanical systems, motion/motor control, three-phase power, AC variable frequency drives.
• Ability to fabricate and machine complex components to repair fixtures, jigs, and parts for project, maintenance tasks, and equipment repair/modifications.
• Basic computer skills, especially knowledge of MS-Office package.
• Ability to work any shift including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance.
